Populist Party backs Draghi as Italy’s New Leader in Online Voting:

The grassroots members of Italy’s populist 5-star movement, the largest political force in the Italian Parliament, today announced their approval of a new government led by former European Central Bank Chief Mario Draghi.

However, in an online vote, the movement said 44,177 of its supporters were in favour of a government headed by Draghi and 30,360 were against, for a margin of 59.3 per cent to 40.7 per cent.
