Joe Biden announced that it is time for corporations and the wealthiest Americans to “start paying their fair share” of taxes. Speaking at a community school in Norfolk, Virginia, on Monday afternoon. US President Joe Biden argued for higher taxes on the country’s richest citizens to help finance his massive $1.8 trillion American Families Initiative and $2 trillion development plan. However, The packages will include funding for preschool and free common pre-school education. I believe it is past time to begin providing tax cuts and incentives to working-class and middle-class households, rather than just the extremely wealthy,” Biden said during a speech in Portsmouth, Virginia.

In response to the massive profits earned by wealthy corporations in the previous year. Biden claimed that he is not “anti-corporate,” but that “it’s about time they began paying their fair share. Biden claimed that the American Families Initiative. Which will devote $1 trillion in spending on education and healthcare over ten years. As well as $800 billion in tax credits targeted at medium- and low-income earners, would not raise taxes on the vast majority of Americans. According to Biden, the initiative would benefit 65 million children and “cut child hunger in half this year.”

According to Reuters, the proposal will also devote $200 billion for free. Universal nursery education and $109 billion for free group school for two years, regardless of earnings.  Biden said If you asked the top 1% to pay the same tax rate as they did in 2001 when George Bush was president. It would raise about $13 billion a year. He repeated what he said in his first 100 days as president. Biden is eager to abandon a conservative touchstone by Republicans. An ideology popularised during Ronald Reagan’s presidency and most recently continued by Donald Trump.
