Biden says Trump shouldn’t get intelligence briefings because of erratic behavior:

Biden says Trump shouldn’t get intelligence briefings because of erratic behavior. President Joe Biden said Friday that the “erratic behavior” of Donald Trump should not give him the courtesy that the incumbent presidents were traditionally given of getting confidential intelligence briefings. Jen Psaki, Secretary of the White House, said earlier in the week that Mr. Biden’s National Security Team investigating whether intelligence briefing extends to Mr. Trump.

Similarly, he accused of rebellion in the US last month at the House of Representatives. His Holiness on January 6th, after Mr. Trump, urged them to march and to force Congress to reverse Mr. Biden’s victory, on the building Rioters ruled last month in the Washington Post. However, she wrote that every modern chairman had granted access to intelligence briefings and confidential information after leaving his post. Susan Gordon, who served as chief administrator of national intelligence from 2017-2019, recommends that Mr. Trump not obtain the privilege.

Mr. Priess said the briefings were provided by the former chairman:

Mr Priess said the briefings

Former Presidents are brief at the absolute discretion of the President of the sitting, and while it includes sensitive information, it does not include the highest levels of secrets in the Regular Brief, David Priess, former Central Intelligence Agency officer who told the late President George H.W. Bush years after he left office.

For two reasons, Mr. Priess said the briefings were provided by the former chairman. If today’s presidents want to reach a previous president, such talks would be more beneficial. Secondly, often former presidents are semi-officially traveling abroad. Mr. Trump’s situation, Mr. Priess said: Both reasons fall apart. Mr. Biden would possibly never contact Mr. Trump for advice on foreign events. He considered a representative for Biden if he travels abroad, Mr. Priess said.
