Heather Knight to lead England women’s cricket team in ‘historic’ tour of Pakistan:

Heather Knight is set as the captain of England. This was the first time. Women’s cricket national team has toured for the Asian country. Moreover, they are going to play a series of matches with Pakistan. Thirty years old woman Heather Knight is to lead England women’s cricket team. She played three one-day internationals between October 18th and 22nd in Karachi. They are playing two Twenty20 international series. This is a great opportunity to show the power of the women’s cricket team. Hence, this is the best chance to prove the talent for the women’s cricket team. They have to show brilliant performance by inspiring and motivating the next generation of women cricketers. By looking at many women players will come forward to play the game with this spirit.

However, the England team has not played international matches in Pakistan since 2005. Due to the terror attack on Sri Lanka’s team traveling in bus 2009. Since after that incident, the women’s team has not played any international cricket series in the country. But now both teams together are going on the trip. England women are going to play with New Zealand in the next month. The date and the team squad details are under process. After returning from the Pakistan tour another series is in process. Later that there is another visit for South Africa. This will take place in the coming summer.
