Best 40 Artworks placed in the National Gallery of Art
Souls Grown Deep Foundation is an organization that documenting, preserving, and promoting the works of African American artists. It has given nearly 40 artworks to the National Gallery of Art. It placed in Washington, D.C. The Souls Grown Deep Foundation offered works collected from 21 artists. In these, 9 works belong to Gee’s Bend quilters and other 10 works by Lonnie Holley and Thornton Dial.
On the other hand, four sculpture heads also included in these works. Those arts exist by James Son Ford Thomas. In 2018, it had been exhibited in the National Gallery show named “Outliers and American Vanguard Art.”
